New arrivals and promotions at Fenwick Elliott

Fenwick Elliott is delighted to announce the continued growth of the firm with the arrival of two new Associates and the promotion of two members of the team.

In May of this year Jock Hamilton joined us as an Associate having qualified in Australia in 2013. Jock has since qualified to practise in England and Wales and has experience in dispute resolution across various industries.

Following a secondment to the Sydney Metro project, Jock developed a particular interest in transport infrastructure and has acted on behalf of contractors in various rail and infrastructure projects.

Ciaran Williams joined Fenwick Elliott at the end of July as an Associate. Having qualified in Northern Ireland in 2012, and since in England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland, Ciaran has significant experience in a range of construction and engineering matters, and specifically in dispute resolution.

Ciaran is experienced across the main construction and energy sectors and advises on the major standard forms of contract including NEC, JCT and FIDIC, as well as bespoke contracts.

Further to the new arrivals we would like to congratulate Laura Bowler who has been promoted to Associate following the successful completion of a two year training contract with Fenwick Elliott. Laura qualified as a Solicitor on 1 August 2017 and has experience in disputes on defect claims, nuclear safety cases and delay claims.

We would also like to congratulate James Cameron on his recent promotion to Senior Associate. James joined Fenwick Elliott as an Associate in April of this year, having qualified in Australia in 2009. James is experienced in dispute resolution procedures and industries. He has focused on working with contractors operating in Africa and the Middle East, and has experience working with foreign law experts across multiple disciplines.
