Housing, commercial & retail

Fenwick Elliott provides a comprehensive range of legal services on every aspect of the procurement and construction process within the transport and infrastructure sectors on projects around the world. Our clients include governments and public authorities, special project vehicles, contractors, consultants and subcontractors.

Acting on behalf of a Housing Association in relation to disputes with the contractor over its final account claims and the interpretation of, and interrelationship between, the PPC 2000 partnering contract.

Acting on behalf of a mechanical and electrical subcontractor on a major refurbishment project, where defects claims were raised. The subcontractor had to defend itself against claims made by the employer, and, at the same time, it needed to pursue its own subcontractor for compensation.

Fenwick Elliott provided legal advice to a property developer embarking on a mixed use £8m housing project, in particular in relation to the possible compliance risks under the design and build contract.

Fenwick Elliott has an ongoing agreement with a major retailer to help its legal team with all property matters – fit-outs, remedial works, upgrades and new builds as well as advising on due diligence, revising standard construction documents and resolving disputes.
