Top legal directories recognise Fenwick Elliott as industry-leading firm
We are proud to share that Fenwick Elliott has once again been recognised for its excellence in construction law, following our inclusion as a top tier firm in The Legal 500 UK 2026 directory, the Chambers and Partners UK 2026 guide, and The Times’ Best Law Firms 2026.
The Legal 500 UK guide ranks Fenwick Elliott as a Tier 1 law firm for our expertise in contentious construction law with further recognition for non-contentious construction and international arbitration. The latest edition describes Fenwick Elliott as “The best contentious construction team in London. They are, without exception, a pleasure to work with, amazingly knowledgeable, and good with clients.” 21 lawyers have also received recognition including newly ranked Lucinda Robinson and Mark Pantry, who have been named ‘Next Generation Partners’, and Katherine Butler who has been ranked as a ‘Leading Associate’.
Chambers and Partners has recognised Fenwick Elliott as a Band 1 firm for our leading expertise in contentious construction. The firm is also ranked for its work in non-contentious construction and international arbitration, reflecting the breadth and depth of our specialist practice. In addition to six of our lawyers who have retained their rankings, David Bebb has earned an individual ranking this year for his work in non-contentious construction, further strengthening the team’s recognised expertise in this area.
Senior Partner Karen Gidwani comments:
“We are enormously proud to have this recognition from our clients and peers. We aim to provide the market’s pre-eminent team for construction law, and this feedback is a strong signal that we are delivering outstanding work for our clients. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak to the researchers on our behalf.”
