Fenwick Elliott has retained its top rankings in the latest editions of Legal 500 and Chambers UK, alongside improved rankings for its non-contentious construction practice and continued recognition for international arbitration.
The firm remains Tier 1 for contentious construction in Legal 500 2027 and Band 1 for construction in Chambers UK 2027, maintaining its position at the top of both leading legal directories.
Fenwick Elliott’s non-contentious construction practice achieved promotions in both directories, rising to Tier 2 in Legal 500 and Band 4 in Chambers UK.
The firm also maintained its rankings for international arbitration, retaining Tier 5 in Legal 500 and Band 3 for construction international arbitration in Chambers UK.
The latest directory results come as Fenwick Elliott is also named once again in The Times Best Law Firms, providing further independent recognition of the firm and its work.
The rankings were accompanied by strong client feedback. Chambers UK described Fenwick Elliott as a “top-tier construction law company with exceptional knowledge” and “leaders in the construction litigation and disputes arena”, while another respondent highlighted the team’s “deep understanding of the commercial and practical realities of the industry”.
Legal 500 similarly recognised the firm’s strength and depth in the construction sector. One testimonial described Fenwick Elliott as “one of, if not the leading construction firms”, while feedback for the non-contentious team praised its ability to “integrate seamlessly with in-house legal and commercial teams”.
Individual lawyers across the firm were also recognised. In Chambers UK, Lucinda Robinson, Jatinder Garcha and Mark Pantry were newly ranked, alongside Tony Francis, Karen Gidwani, Toby Randle, Nicholas Gould and David Bebb who remain leading practitioners.
Senior Partner Karen Gidwani comments:
“We take great pride in the outstanding recognition we have received from the legal directories. These results reflect the strength and depth of our construction practice and the tremendous work being done by our teams for clients in the UK and internationally.
“It is particularly pleasing to see our non-contentious practice promoted in both directories, while we continue to be recognised for our international arbitration work. We are extremely grateful to all those we work with for their feedback and to everybody across the firm whose work has contributed to these results.”
