Fenwick Elliott is pleased to announce the appointments of Fatma Guney as Of Counsel, and Emma Chiaramello and Triada Pulham as Senior Associates.
Fatma Guney was previously a partner at Akinci, an international firm in Istanbul, where she spent 13 years. She specialises in the resolution of complex construction disputes and has extensive experience acting as counsel in high‑value international arbitrations across multiple jurisdictions. A Solicitor of England & Wales and a barrister (NP), she advises contractors, subcontractors, employers, state entities and multinational clients on major energy, transport and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Fatma is widely recognised for her expertise in advising Turkish contractors on multi‑jurisdictional projects and complex cross‑border dispute strategy, and is noted as a future leader and Global Thought Leader for Arbitration in Türkiye in the Lexology Index.
Emma Chiaramello joins the firm following nine years at Birketts LLP, where she was a Legal Director. Since qualifying in 2011, Emma has gained a breadth of experience acting for employers, main contractors, subcontractors and consultants. Emma also has a particular specialism in the field of Building Safety Act and defects claims.
Triada Pulham has worked on a wide range of projects spanning different sectors. She has particular experience in advising both developers and contractors on fire safety-related defects and cladding concerns arising from the Building Safety Act 2022. She also has experience with both domestic and international claims involving energy projects, commercial, residential and mixed-use developments and infrastructure engineering projects such as rail and road. Triada arrives following her previous role at Howard Kennedy.
