DRBF 2020 election results see Fenwick Elliott partners named President-Elect
The Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) have announced the newly elected members of DRBF Executive and Region 2 boards.
We are very pleased to announce that Fenwick Elliott partner, Nicholas Gould has been named President Elect of the DRBF Executive Board of Directors and Jeremy Glover, partner has been elected President Elect of the DRBF Region 2 Board of Directors.
The DRBF is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the avoidance and resolution of disputes worldwide through the use of Dispute Boards (DBs). The DRBF assists with the worldwide application of the DB method by providing advice and suggestions tailored for the conditions and practices existing in project areas. The rapid spread of the process worldwide has resulted in the process being used on more than $270 billion worth of construction projects, achieving avoidance of numerous disputes and delivering significant savings. The DRBF provides guidance on effective DB implementation tailored for the conditions and practices existing in project areas, as well as training DB practitioners and promoting best practices.
Speaking of his new appointment, Nicholas Gould said “I am delighted to have been elected to the Executive Board as President Elect of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation. The DRBF is dedicated to promoting the avoidance and resolution of disputes worldwide using the unique and proven dispute boards method. My aim is to help move this international organisation towards a greater use of technology and to focus on the leading edge of this new virtual working environment. I also want to promote more collaboration between the DRBF and other international organisations for the cross fertilisation of dispute resolution ideas and concepts.”
