When the agreed payment schedule came to an end, should you then follow the original contractual timetable? What was the effect of the adjudicator failing to address cross-claims raised by the Responding Party?

Had the second contract superceded the first? Or in the words of the Court of Appeal: had the parties begun “by playing cricket but then switched to baseball?”
