“Expert evidence: all my own work”

Ted Lowery in a paper given at the latest Fenwick Elliott Construction Law Update Seminar held at Simpsons in the Strand, London considers the effect of the recent updates to CPR Part 35 (which deals with expert evidence) and looks to see what impact case law has had on the way in which experts give their evidence. These cases include Stallwood v David, Fitzpatrick Contractors v Tyco, Fitzroy Robinson Ltd v Mentmore Towers an and Edwards v Bruce & Hyslop (Brucast) Ltd. Finally, Ted looks at the recent challenges to expert immunity in the case of Jones v Kaney.
