King’s College London FIDIC Summer School 2020
Fenwick Elliott Partner Nicholas Gould, alongside Professor Phillip Capper are to lead a special week long training course in the East Wing of Somerset House, from Wednesday 10 June to Sunday 14 June 2020.
The new one-week Summer school will cover the FIDIC standard form contracts in practice and focusing on the common and civil law legal frameworks within which these contracts are used. This intensive course is designed to equip talented commercial managers, engineers and lawyers with advanced legal, commercial and practical knowledge in relation to FIDIC contracts.
The King’s FIDIC Summer School includes lectures and workshops on FIDIC procurement and contract formation, its application in different jurisdictions, its rights and obligations and its treatment of issues such as payment, contract management, risk management, claims and dispute resolution, and will feature lectures by leading practitioners including Fenwick Elliott Partner Jeremy Glover.
